Singapore
- HARPS Marine Pte Ltd

Singapore is the headquarters for our marine division. We have decided to center our marine activities in Singapore due to the vibrant market and ease of access to owners, financiers and brokers. Also, with the efficient infrastructure and low cost of doing business, we are able to drive our global activities in the most comprehensive manner.

Our core managements for the Marine Division are all located in Singapore, and we shuttle frequently between Asia and Africa so as to engage with our African clients and stakeholders. Our team consists of experienced mariners and professionals that have worked with some of the largest international marine companies from Singapore and Denmark, bringing with them a wealth of experience in both the onshore marine and offshore marine industry.

We hold a DOC for Offshore Vessels and Tankers with the Maritime Port Authority of Singapore and the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency. All our vessels are registered with one of the International Association of Classification Societies, and are all maintained to the highest standard. Our vessels have successfully completed projects with many International Oil Companies – for example Shell and Chevron, just to name a few.

Calabar
- HARPS Offshore Marine Centre

There is a dearth of quality marine base in Nigerian water. The available marine bases are often poorly managed or in full capacity and unable to provide efficient services to vessels owners. In order to achieve a better level of maintenance for our fleet, we decided to develop an offshore marine centre in Calabar.

The choice of the location is inspired by the close proximity to a few leading exploration and production facilities in the region. Additionally, this location is strategically located in the Gulf of Guinea, and hence is a useful base for fleets that are working in the area. Also, Calabar is a peaceful and secured town, and we have already obtained the full support of the local government.

We are working on the marine centre in phases. But once fully completed, we are envisioning a quay with 300m waterfront access to the Calabar River, with around 4.8m draft at low tide. We will also have a crane that is capable of lifting up to 150mt, as well as almost 1000m2 of covered and secured warehouses. There will also be a slipway alongside the quay on, which will allow us to perform docking services for vessels.

The HARPS Offshore Marine Centre is part of our company’s intention to build capacities in Nigeria, and demonstrate our commitment to growing local content. We believe that this will have a positive impact on our business growth, and enable us to engage and provide good services to the International Oil Companies.
